Based on standard single coated Iscorama 36 and Lomo lenses from the 1950s. Rehoused and further improved by VanDiemen.

This is the quickest, easiest and most vintage way to film with anamorphic lenses.
The lens setup covers Alexa mini Open Gate and beyond. Best used at 7K 4:3 on V-Raptor to get a final 2:1/16:9 image (perfect for post stabilisation or reframing).

Non-moving 100mm front. Quick and easy to assemble wide angle adapter and matte box. The follow focus motor always stays connected to the anamorphic front when changing the taking lens. No horizontal allignment or motor recalibration needed after lens change. The squeese factor is 1.42x. The lens has an amber single coating and produces lovely soft flares in light source temperature/color. Combined with the original Lomo standard speeds from the 50s this anamorphic setup is truely vintage!
The taking lenses have a fixed focus at infinity and no option for using alone without the front anamorphic adapter.
